Catholic schools and colleges in Meghalaya will remain closed on Friday as a sign of respect for Pope Francis, following a request from Auxiliary Bishop B Laloo. The Bishop of Jowai Archdiocese has also issued similar instructions for institutions under his jurisdiction.
