The state education department has declared the academic calendar for 2022-23 through a notification dated May 19. As per the calendar, the state run universities will have to begin the admission process for first year students from June 1 and complete it by June 22. The colleges affiliated to state universities will have to begin the first semester of undergraduate and postgraduate courses by June 23. The calendar is not applicable to medical colleges and pharmacy colleges.
